code: PITCH TIME, an information code w/ timeline
PITCH TIME is a multi-use code based on the PITCH DECK biosheet code, making them a nice, matchy pair. PITCH TIME can be used for timelines, plot calendars, certain information pages, and probably even IC/OOCs if you're willing to get creative.
PITCH TIME is a fairly simple code with a lot of potential customization options if you're willing to crack into things. By default, it comes with a fully optional image/mood board in the "INTRODUCTION" section of the code, and in the comments below, I'll be including a few variant codes you can replace the default with. This code also comes with a fake LJ-cut by default that shows JUST the mood board and opening text blurb, but you can remove it easily by deleting the part indicated in the code.
Be sure to check out the HOW TO USE section for customization instructions. Otherwise, the default code is pretty easy to use out of the box!

❣️ This code is mobile compatible, and PROVIDED THAT YOU PUT THE CODE UNDER AN LJ-CUT, it is also insanejournal friendly!
❣️ By default, this code comes with a left-floating image mood board, a block for introductory text, a fake LJ-cut that includes a horizontal rule line, and two timeline points. All sub-sections are optional and are labeled with comments in the code. Feel free to remove any part.
❣️ This code is ideal for plot or event calendars, simply change the "LABEL TEXT" to a date/day of the week. It can also be used as an info page. It may also be appropriate for some IC/OOCs. The world is your mollusk.
❣️ Want some alternatives to the default mood board? I'll be including alternatives in the comments at the bottom of this post. Just copy the alternative image board options and paste them over the existing mood board.
❣️ In the actual timeline section, you can add more points by copy-pasting the existing "section" parts of the code.
❣️ By default the "Header text" part is a link, so that this code can have a fake LJ-cut. Be sure to update #ENTRY_URL to the URL of your post after posting it, or, if you aren't using the fake LJ-cut functionality, just remove 'href="#ENTRY_URL"'.
❣️ To update the mood board images, replace IMG_URL placeholder text with URLs for images. They'll auto-scale to fit the given space.
❣️ hex code #72508a: light purple, used extensively throughout the code. Use find-replace to update it.
❣️ hex code #4f246d: dark purple, used extensively throughout the code. Use find-replace to update it.

I was wondering if there was a way to somewhat combine this with Dated? Specifically, I wanted to use each section in Dated as a month instead of a day, then put the timeline in Pitch Time within each month. I tried to combine them myself, but ended up with this 🫣
